"The instrument is very versatile and compact. The ability to add a Peltier and water bath is definitely a bonus. We currently have 2 and have used them in Biochemistry and Inorganic labs. I also like that you have the choice of using the touch screen on the unit or connecting it to a desktop computer. We have had to replace a power head on 1 of our units but it was simple and the Thermo technical support was very helpful."
