Powder Weighing Stations by Erlab

"Our laboratory purchased the Captair Flex M391 ductless weigh station hood. Some of our microbial media would form a fine dust that can be irritating to some people in the lab and we occasionally use volatile agents that required use to move our operations to the large chemical hood. The M391 has completely eliminated the dust and volatiles issues. The staff at Erlab helped design our filter stack to compensate for the chemicals and quantities we typically use and were very hands on in their approach to getting us the right hood for our lab. Even after a few years of service, the Erlab staff calls once a year to check on the unit’s performance and see if we are using any new chemicals that might change the filter stack or service life of the unit. The Erlab approach is much nicer than an email and allows our unit to maintain a flexibility for our laboratories future needs. The unit is very simple to use and maintain. The filter units are a snap to pop in and replace. We did purchase an additional plunger dually to help with testing the charcoal filters. The simple syringe that was sent with the unit works, but the autosampler is much more convenient and I would imagine accurate. Aside from that minor gripe the unit has met and or exceeded out laboratory’s needs. Overall, great weight station hood, but even better service from Erlab. Honestly, the service from Erlab is what sets this unit apart from others. If you are looking for a ductless fume hood or weight station, Erlab will get the job done! "
