"The Pipette was purchased to facilitate the pipetting of 10 ml of sample easily instead of using a glass pipette and bulb. We had it for less than 2 months and then the button on top to draw the sample stayed depressed and I sent it in to the manufacturer as it was under warranty for repair. I was then asked if I wanted to have another piece added to it that would be an out of pocket expense to prevent this from happening again. If this was missing from the time it was originally made, why should I have to pay extra to have this fixed. This clearly shows a scheme to make you pay for something that should have been there from the beginning."

"They are definitely my favorite pipettes in our lab since they are easy to push whereas other pipettes are a little stiffer. This makes it easier to mix pipette carefully without creating bubbles (important for our pcr and library preps) and be able to pipette for a long experiment without hand strain. One thing I'm always concerned about regarding multi-channel pipette usage is that students tend to tap so hard to “ensure” all channels have tips; and this damages the pipette so badly. However this pipette allows each channel to independently work (or of course we can fix all channels like the traditional multi-pipette) This really helps students to put tips on more gently and we can make the pipettes last longer."

Not only is it very accurate, but unlike most common Rainin brands, instead of 4 marked lines in between the indicated numbered volume, actual numbers are provided!!
