"Excellent general-purpose microcentrifuge. Intuitively designed user interface for easy set temperature, speed, and time. Also, quick run mode for a fast spin is provided. Quiet operation even at full speed. Maximum speed up to 21300 G. The 24 - place biocontainment aerosol proof lid provided ensures an aerosol contamination-free run. The centrifuge is compatible with a few other types of rotors although we have only FA-24-2 kit rotor. Advanced options include ramp control for centrifugation, fast cooling, continuous cooling etc. The rotor can be easily removed for cleaning with the key provided. Does not take too much bench space. Build quality excellent - German workmanship."

Great instrument for the separation of molecules.
Application Area:Separating DNA/RNA molecules from molecular contaminants
"I use a microcentrifuge on a daily basis for the extraction of DNA, RNA and cDNA. This Eppendorf centrifuge is best for this purpose as is very easy to use with various rotors that are easy to replace. Also, there are a good number of tubes you can keep in the rotor for one round of spin. Easy to handle. With this centrifuge you can change the temperature and refrigerate too."
