"Multi-technology reader with high versatility"

"We are happy regarding using the machine because it's easy to use and always providing us stable results. The downside is really costly for maintenance. Just changing a light bulb, it whole unit has to be replaced (total cost was $7k-$10k). Good for their business, but not for user. They should design the structure of the machine to be more user friendly."

"The most welcome feature is the versatility of the plate reader: it can measure absorbance at very wide range of wavelength from infrared to UV range, can do Fluorescence Intensity measurements, FRET (alpha technology), Luminescence techniques, and appropriate for label free technologies (like the Octet or EPIC) at fraction of the cost. There are competitors out there with similar features, but we found that the after sales support is superb with PerkinElmer. That made the difference for us. I can report one thing: so far so good!"
