"5 oligos were ordered. 3 were synthesised very quickly and made at the first attempt. The other 2 took over 5 attempts at synthesis. I had to contact Eurofins to find out the problem. Even when I was given an explanation it was still not clear. After over a month since the order was placed I received a call to explain the issue. Had I been told that immediately, my expectations would have been managed and I could have said that I would have been ok with the alternative synthesis product. Instead my project was put on-hold for nearly 2 weeks. In the mean time I went to another company, placed an order and received the goods and started using them. I think that the only way I would continue to Eurofins is if the oligos I received perform better than the ones from the other supplier."

"We use 100-120-mer oligonucleotides synthesized by Eurofins/MWG because they are the offer the best ratio of quality / price. We use them for PCR but the trick is that only the last 15-20 bp at the 3’ end of the oligonucleotide can anneal to the template. We thus need good amounts of fully 100-120-mer oligos and MWG gives us that for a very low price. Using the HSPF purification, we pay less than 30 EUR per oligo, which we receive with a turnaround time of 2-3 days> We typically obtain high amounts (almost 10 times more than with another company we used before) of a pure oligo, making the subsequent PCR a success every time. I highly recommended this product."

"The products respective Oligos are of very good quality, customer care is great the only really annoying thing is the homepage. It contains too much information on one page. The page setup is annoying due to the interspersed advertisement and logos that consume too much space, while important information is written in minute letters. Also the distribution of important information is distributed into left columns, right columns in addition to the "text" body. There are also additional quick-link headings where you can switch from oligos to sequencing and NGS etc. This is not useful if I want to order oligos I already know what I want. If I want to add something I will go back to the front-page and select there. Overall usability of the homepage is low due to the unintuitive interface."

"I have good results with Eurofins DNA oligonucleotides. Especially, their fast delivery is a big plus. Eurofins gives you the volume in which to dissolve the oligo's for a 100 micromolar stock. This needs to be checked manually, however, because in my experience the amount of oligo you get is sometimes much higher than what they tell you, especially with very long oligos. (In principle getting more is a good thing, but for applications where the concentration needs to be correct it's important to check it yourself by UV absorption.)"
