DAB (3,3-diaminobenzidine tetrahydrochloride), is used as a chromogen substrate in immunoblotting.DAB produces a brown colour during the enzymatic degradation of H2SO4 by horseradish peroxidase. Each tablet contains 10 mg of DAB and dissolves in distilled water in less than 5 minutes. Stability life time is 18 months at 4°C.
