Never, ever, buy -80c and -140c, even all the freezers from Thermo Fisher.

"We put our cherish cells in the -140c freezer, the 3rd year after bought, and now is the 4th year, it has been repaired for 3 times, Last week, it shut down again. WHAT A F~. My cells, after four times shock, you can imagine, the viabilities. Super terrible experience with Thermo Freezers. Almost at the same time, -80c Freezer from Thermo was broken, which was bought at the same time, my PI establish his Lab at 2017. Now, I AM intensively suggest people do not buy freezers from Thermo Fisher anymore. Who was my premier choice, but now I refuse it with no consideration, because Thermo has lost my trust in its fame."

CryoMed IVF Freezers for controlled rate freezing protocols, when sample viability is of the utmost importance. This series of easy-to-use controlled rate freezers allows you to choose a size and configuration that meets the requirements of a wide range of research. Designed for precise control, ease of operation, and convenience these units feature top and front access for easy sample "e;e;Seeding"e;e;. These units are designed for human in vitro fertilization (IVF) use (K1021042).
CryoMed Freezers are available in three sizes - .6 cu. ft., and 1.2 cu. ft( 17.0, and 34.0 liters) - and include an integrated control panel and printer. The control panel displays chamber temperature, sample temperature, and profile status and messages continuously.
