The module features recesses to accept the ring stand-off on the underside of the dishes, enabling maximal thermal contact between the CoolSink top surface and the underside of the dish. Use for a variety of applications including warm or cold incubations for cell harvesting or lysis, rapid agar solidification for growth independence, solutions or media incubations, or use the cold dish as a chilled tissue dissection stage. Place on ice, dry ice or other cold or warm sources and CoolSink HCD2 will rapidly adapt to source temperature. Rubber feet allow for placement in a biosafety cabinet for stable manipulation, but are removable if placing on a ThermalTray™ for water bath incubations or when autoclaving.
