CoolCell® SV2 provides consistent -1℃/minute freeze rate to 2ml serum vials in a -80℃ freezer without the use of alcohol or any fluids. 2ml serum-style vials, such as the Daikyo Seiko Crystal Zenith® (CZ) vials, are wider in diameter and have different thermal release properties than standard cryovials. CoolCell SV2 offers a unique, cost-effective way to achieve controlled-rate freezing without the use of a programmable cryogenic freezer. The patent-pending design and materials ensure precise, uniform and highly reproducible heat removal from all vials in the container during the freezing period. CoolCell SV2 is unbreakable and opens easily - even at cryogenic temperatures. Frozen vials can easily be removed when the cap is removed and the vial caps are exposed. CoolCell SV2 is not cold to the touch when frozen and can be used for another freeze run after only five minutes. Accommodates quantity 12 of the 2ml serum vials.
