Connect™ Microplate Stacker by Tecan

It is easily added to compatible standalone Tecan detection and separation systems – including Spark® 10M and Spark 20M imaging multimode readers, Infinite® 200 PRO series of multimode readers, as well as HydroSpeedTM plate washers. Connect has no rotary movements, saving time and making all movements smooth and efficient.

The compact Connect stacker uses the same plate cassettes as the Te-Stack™ module. This eliminates manual transfer of plates between the two modules to take readings once pipetting has been performed. Almost any plate type can be accommodated in either short or tall cassettes holding 30 and 50 plates respectively, including all commonly used 96-, 384- and 1,536-well plates. The unique fine positioning base plate allows the gripper loading position to be fine-tuned, and a barcode option is available that enables barcode reading on either the left- or right-hand short side of the plate. Light-sensitive compounds are protected by an optional dark cover. Connect offers fast restacking of plates for kinetic runs, and may also be disabled to allow the reader or washer to be used manually to process an individual plate. For straightforward operation, the Connect software interface is integrated within i-control™ reader control and Magellan™ data reduction software, as well as SparkControl™ Magellan.
