"The product is very effective when used correctly. For reflux, the product can substitute water condensers almost entirely, the exception is with diethyl ether. A positive by-product of the design is that users could be more conscious of the level of heating required during reflux since excessive heating will lead to loss of solvent, conceivably an additional indirect efficiency benefit. For conventional distillation, the product design is not so effective as distillate collects in the CondenSyn when angled horizontally.
