"We have been using the Computrac MAX 4000XL since 2009. We currently have units in three food manufacturing facilities. The instrument is durable and well made. I like it for its reliability and ease of use. It is a simple instrument to program for loss of weight for moisture and total solids measurements. If the instrument does need to be sent back for service, Arizona Inst. will send a loaner instrument while a repair is made. This replacement service has helped our production lines maintain product quality. The temperature calibration kits allows the temperature to be calibrated in-house over a few hours and is a straight forward process performed once a year. "

"The Max 4000XL can be programmed to measure weight loss or weight gain from ambient temperature to 250ºC. Increasing temperature steps can be linked to test a single sample for weight loss at multiple temperature settings. The machine can also determine % solids in water based solutions. It is a robust instrument that can survive use in a production plant. Vibration pads also available for locations near heavy operating equipment. Also, loaners are available to try before you buy."
