Modular equipment that can be scaled up to increase capacity with a minimum of effort

"This equipment is very effective for compound management. The original purchase of two modules was expanded to 3 then 4 in a seamless manner. A D2 variant of the store was added some time later for a different sample set. The modularity and scalability of the kit was necessary for a small-medium compound management facility like ours."

"These particular units were chosen for their compact size, large storage capacity, reliability and sample management capabilities. We also chose TTP Labtech because of its professionalism and customer service. We’ve installed five comPOUND units and moved them around on site. "I had the pleasure to operate and maintain 10 comPOUND units that were part of a complete comPOUND/comPILER system for managing microtube samples. These units do not take much to operate and maintain. However, it also does not take much to put the system out of commission such as a spill. If using a tube system that minimizes spill during retrieval/storage, then an occasional stuck tube can easily be dealt with. I like the fact that the unit can function as a stand-alone or networked to a central controller like a comPILER for increased flexibility and throughput due to parallel processing. With 10 comPOUNDs connected to a comPILER we were able to retrieve, thaw, centrifuge, decap, plate, recap, and store over 10K microtube samples in a single day."
