When you need a fully-automated solution to create assay plates directly from stored samples, TTP LabTech's comPOUND® stores can be interfaced to the comPILER® high throughput, tube-to-plate processing system. comPILER can cherry-pick from up to 12 comPOUND stores simultaneously, allowing the system to retrieve, process and re-store over 60,000 microtubes a day.
comPILER arrays, thaws, centrifuges, decaps and gasses tubes before presenting them to a liquid handler for reformatting. Once plates are prepared, microtubes are returned to comPILER for recapping and storage - all without operator intervention. comPILER maintains sample integrity outside the store by filling each tube with inert argon gas to maintain the sample microenvironment.
