"These incubators are so easy to use and decontaminate! The inside footprint is larger than most other manufacturers allowing more flask space than normal. The only thing I would suggest for newer updates to this is to add a port for sampling CO2."

"It is out of service because due to not having the CO2 sensor. When I requested a quote, they indicated that the original used in my model was no longer available and that another sensor was suggested, I asked for a quote from Germany at the end November 2020 and they didn't give me the price. I requested service in Mexico and they indicated that the service cost would be around $ 5,000.00 USD. I had to pay this in advance and the service was completed 14 weeks after payment, this is very sad."

If the gas is turned off, the CO2 levels only lose 1% after 24 hours, Panasonic ones don't even last 4 hours. The CB 160s are very tall when stacked. The CB170s have much better dimensions."

"I have had Binder C and CB incubators for over 10 years now. Having used other incubators, switching to Binder was one of the best decisions that I ever made. They are relatively light weight (air jacketed) and are easy to sterilize (180 deg C). So, contamination issues can be easily dealt with. They hold up CO2 pressure and temperature even when we have had disruptions. Because they are made from one complete sheet of steel, there are no joints inside the incubator. "This latest model by Binder has some improvements but not many. First, the cost should be a little lower because the equality of using this incubator matches the CO2 Incubators from NuAire or Thermo which you can get at a lower price. Also, it depends on the model you would purchase as well; my laboratory bought two, and one of them takes more than 5 minutes rather than few seconds to load when you switch it on. However, there are nice features that had been added, one of them is the sterilizer sensor that stays in the incubator while working as well as the contamination avoidance sensor that is very precise and accurate. I'm disappointed because regardless of the newest versions, the concept of using the CO2 incubators have been the same and small minor changes were added."

"It has a complete elimination of bacteria, spores, etc. I can always rely on its sterilization of the atmosphere plus all surfaces. There is a minimal sterilization cost. It has optimal and uniform cell growth throughout. The inner chamber is easy to clean."
