"The Clarus SQ8 is very compact, quiet, easy to use, easy to maintain. However, the equipment is not very good in terms of sensitivity. It is not good for reproducibility analysis. The base line is very noisy. The after sale service is fantastic in Melbourne VIC, but some of the problem from the equipment itself are very hard to identify even for PE service engineers. I am not very happy with the value for money of this instrument"

"Clarus SQ 8 GC/MS gives the advantage of switching between EI and CI ionisation modes in an easy way. Ballistic cooling is an added advantage. But the Clarifi detector is not robust enough for long time operations. "
