"Ease of use - The chemagic MSM I is very simple to use. We have not had any major problems with the instrument. It would be nice if the instrument deck had an engineering design that would prevent the possibility of plates being placed onto the instrument in the wrong orientation. After Sales Care - Deidre has been very prompt to reply to my emails if I have any concerns or questions which is always appreciated. We are essentially a 24/7 laboratory and it would be helpful to have instrument service around the clock, including weekends and holidays. Value for Money - We rarely have run failures due to instrument problems which is wonderful because performing Sanger sequencing is very costly and patient sample is precious. My only suggestion would be to have additional reagent dead volume built into the kits for liquid handler use."

"This product has been a great replacement for our previous extraction platform. It has the high throughput capability that we were really looking for. I really appreciate the company's response in troubleshooting different issues or when one of the instruments goes down. The two complaints that the staff have with the MSMI is the inability to extract heparin samples and the QC of the kits. Any sample that is in heparin must be extracted on a different platform which disrupts our workflow and we often experience reagent kits that have varying levels of washes, beads, deep well blocks etc."
