Use it for many applications. Always reliable!
Rating: 4.7

  • Application Area:Cell culture/molecular biology

"We have two of these currently in the lab. One is used in the cell culture room where it is routinely used for centrifugation of cultured cells and blood fractionation. The other is for general use in the main lab or when both are required. They have always performed adequately when dealing with cells, whether cultured or from gradient centrifugation. I also use the centrifuge for centrifugation of qPCR plates prior. The refrigeration function makes the centrifuge useful in many applications including cells or other samples. Centrifuges have both always performed well and are very easy to use. The controls are simple and well-explained in the manual. We have not required any after sales care as the machines have never had any major issues. I am unsure how much the machine(s) actually cost, but given that they have always performed well without issues I feel comfortable in justifying my claim that the machines are of great value."

"This benchtop refrigerated centrifuge is quite easy to handle and built robustly for extended use. My 4 students have been using it every day for the last two years without a hitch. A yearly service is all that is needed. I ordered three different rotors that are detected automatically upon use and it serves all my routine centrifugation needs. Overall a very good product and I’m happy to recommend."

"This refrigerated centrifuge is easy to use. There are different types of adaptors to hold 15ml/50ml FALCON tubes, 1.5ml/2ml tubes and PCR plates. The service is also good. We have had this product for about 3 years and had it serviced once. The service person came within 2 days after I made the call. We are very satisfied with the product and service."
