Review date: 10 Jan 2011 | Cell Harvester System
The Inotech Cell Harvester ensures the ultimate collection of cells and precipitates as well as the aspiration of cell membranes and vesicle preparations via glass fiber filters.
Originally developed in cooperation with the prestigious Basel Institute for Immunology, the Inotech Harvester is used world-wide for all glass fiber filter collection applications.
Important Features
The Cell Harvester includes a 96-well Processing Head which harbors 96-dual tube system for the simultaneous collection and wash of samples.
The Harvester includes a expertly designed stainless steel cutting plate. This plate guarantees a firm hold of the glass fiber filtermat, while minimizing filter disc handling. If the researcher requires an intact filtermat, a non-cutting plate is available.
This Harvesting System is a precise, mechanical instrument that is fast, manually operated device allowing for the harvest of 20 microtiter plates per hour. Quick, efficient harvesting is achieved via the color-coded valve block. This manually operated valve block reduces radioactive waste and handling by directing waste and wash fluids to "hot" and "cold" autoclavable containers.
