CyBio's Cell Assay Workstation is a comprehensive solution for fully automated high content analysis and screening. This powerful and flexible system is especially designed to run end point assays measuring cell death and viability, fluorescent agent uptake, fluorescent immunohistochemistry antibody stains and neurotransmitter release.
 
The system combines state of the art high content cellular imaging technology, liquid handling for reagent addition and media exchange, using the CyBi®-Well vario, a high precision multichannel pipettor with exchangeable pipetting head for 96- or 384-well microplates.

To accomplish true walk-away automation adequate storage of the different assay plate formats, reagent troughs and tip trays is provided. Furthermore, the system is completed by a multi-mode reader, microplate washer, four station automated lid handling system and barcode reader. Plate transport between the different modules is realized by a central robot that also performs automatic tip changing on the CyBi®-Well vario.

The workstation features the powerful CyBio® Scheduler Software for optimal system control. Dynamic scheduling, assay simulation and prioritization of individual assays support the user in all aspects of their daily routine. Completed by a class II biological safety containment system, the system provides environmental protection for samples, personnel, and also fulfills compulsory biosafety requirements.
