CD34 MicroBead Kit
The CD34 MicroBead Kit, formerly termed Direct CD34 Progenitor Cell Isolation Kit, is a single-step labeling system which allows the fast and easy isolation of CD34+ cells. The CD34 MicroBead Kit contains MicroBeads conjugated to the monoclonal mouse anti-human CD34 antibody QBEND/10, which detects an invariant class II epitope present on all glycoforms1.
The kit also contains FcR Blocking Reagent to avoid unspecific labeling of cells via Fc receptors. By using direct MicroBeads instead of an indirect labeling system, the washing step during the labeling procedure is abolished and the resulting potential loss of cells is avoided.
CD34+ cells can be isolated from:
• peripheral blood,
• bone marrow,
• leukapheresis product,
• cord blood,
• embryonic stem cell lines2,3 and induced pluripotent stem cells during their differentiation to hematopoietic and endothelial lineages.
