CD11b MicroBeads were developed for the isolation of human monocytes. The CD11b molecule is part of the CD11b/CD18 heterodimer which is strongly expressed on myeloid cells and weakly on NK cells as well as on some activated lymphocytes. CD11b functions as a receptor for complement (C3bi), fibrinogen, or clotting factor X.
