The CAS-BIND™ 9 Caspase (Z-LEHD-FMK) inhibitor is a cell-permeable inhibitor that forms an irreversible covalent bond with active caspase 9 inside the cell. The activation of caspases is a hallmark event in apoptosis. To inhibit apoptosis in cell culture assays, the inhibitor should be added prior to induction of apoptosis.
