BVC Fluid Aspiration Systems by BRANDTECH® Scientific, Inc.

The BVC family of fluid aspiration systems is a compact and easy-to-use solution for cell culture work. With its portable design as well as the option of adding a second hand controller, the BVC makes working in the lab more convenient. Built-in features like a 0.2 µm hydrophobic filter and optional quick couplings increase safety while managing potentially harmful fluids. BVCs provide the flexibility to accommodate your decontamination protocol whether you autoclave or disinfect in the bottle.

• Reliable: Powered models have a VACUUBRAND^® chemistry-design diapragm pump for long service life.
• Convenient: Suitable for two users with optional extension and second hand controller. Powered Control and Professional models deliver vacuum on demand and allow easy adjustment of suction levels.
• Safe: 0.2 µm hydrophobic filter helps protect pump and lab environment. Optional quick couplings (standard on Professional PP model) contain aerosols when transporting collection vessel to autoclave. Professional models have a contact-free level sensor, allowing you to concentrate on your work.

BVC family:

Basic. The BVC Basic is the unpowered version designed to connect to an external vacuum source such as a VACUU·LAN^® vacuum network, central vacuum system or stand-alone pump. A mechanical regulator ensures an optimal vacuum level in the bottle for efficient aspiration.

Control. The BVC Control features a powerful, whisper-quiet and durable VACUUBRAND^® chemistry diaphragm pump, eliminating the need for an external vacuum source. The vacuum pump automatically turns on and off on demand when using the VacuuHandControl VHC^pro, which further reduces noise. The easy-to-use electronic touch panel allows for simple adjustment of the vacuum level to provide the proper suction power your application requires.

Professional.The BVC Professional has the same features as the Control version with the addition of an external liquid level sensor, allowing you to concentrate on your work without worrying about overflow.

Each version comes standard with a VacuuHandControl VHC^pro and is available with either a 2L glass collection bottle for use with aggressive disinfectants or a heavy-duty 4L polypropylene bottle.
