BioSuite HPLC columns contain a new brand of high-performance chemistries dedicated to the isolation, analysis and characterization of proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules. The columns are being offered in analytical as well as "lab scale" preparative dimensions.
Product line offerings include ion-exchange, size exclusion, hydrophobic interaction, and reversed-phase columns:The anion and cation-exchange functional groups (both strong and weak) are coupled to a porous or non-porous polymeric matrix. These ion-exchange columns will be available in metallic and some non-metallic (PEEK) column hardware.Ultra high resolution (UHR), high resolution (HR) and standard size exclusion (SEC) columns are also part of the new BioSuite HPLC column line. The BioSuite HPLC line of hydrophobic interaction columns (HIC) consists of a phenyl functional group coupled to a polymeric matrix optimally developed for this separation mode. BioSuite reversed-phase columns include either a C18 or phenyl functional group coupled to a porous or non-porous polymeric matrix and complement Waters line of Symmetry®, Symmetry300, Atlantis dC18, and XTerra reversed-phase chemistries.
Waters will soon have a new addition to this BioSuite family of application-driven solutions. In Q4 2003 the Biosuite Peptide Analysis Series optimized for peptide mapping with be available.
