"Sartorius Biostat A-plus is a quality product that is easy to use and consistently perform as expected to produce quality data in our DOE and optimization studies to optimize fermentation conditions and scale-up modeling studies. Recently, however, some of the units are not functional due to worn out parts. I inquired for technical assistant from the local supplier if they could please come and see the units but it is taking some time for the response. We think that there may not be local trained technicians in the county so we emailed Sartorius sending images of the parts we think are causing the trouble or damaged and they replied back fairly fairly promptly. I was just disappointed that the quotation I got was for the module or set and not just for the part that needs to be replaced. I wish we could purchase only the part that needs to be replaced and not other parts that we believe are still functional. I also wish that Sartorius would train local technicians that are capable of providing service and advice locally."
