Lots of data with minimal sample
Application Area: Quantify cytokines in tissue and various body fluids.
"The BioPlex 200 is capable of providing a large amount of information with very small sample volumes/concentrations, maximizing the use of precious samples. The system itself is fairly easy to use. There are software prompts at every step. However, I would strongly advise a service contract for the unit. If one of the lasers go out of alignment, the equipment will not function. The process of re-alignment is not information they disseminate, so a technician will be required to visit on site to correct the issue. That is the only solution and is quite costly if you do not already have a service contract in place. There tech support, for this equipment is fabulous."

This is a great piece of equipment that makes running a complex lab easy!
Application Area:Immunoassay
"My lab is a reference facility in the United Kingdom and we perform immunoassays to analyze IgG-specific and vaccine-induced antibody levels in human sera. The ease of use of the Bioplex and the after sale service we get make it possible to perform assays and send results to our service users in a considerably short period of time, mostly within our turnaround times. As a result, I recommend this product to immunoassay labs that rely on efficiency, reproducibility and quality of service."

Consistent data
Application Area:Multiplex assays
"With a few after care tips, the unit can be used seamlessly for consistent analysis of multiple analytes in a small sample size. Kits however, are pricey."

An important helper for our work.
Application Area:Biomarkers from tissue excized from melanoma patients
"We are using the equipment to identify possible genetic biomarkers from melanoma samples. It is easy to use and gives highly reproducible results."

Very usefull tool to perform an ELISA on a bead.
Application Area:Immuno assay using little quantities of mAbs
"This ELISA on a bead method allows to screen samples for a variety of targets (multiplex). My recommendation is to use the magnetic beads. Many kits available."
