"There is a very steep learning curve, but once you've accomplished that the instrument works well. It took us almost a year to produce our first library. One of the problems (not Beckman's) is that NEB continues to change their protocols and it is very difficult to reprogram volume changes (Beckman's problem) the way the software works. It's similar to using HTML code rather than being able to simply make changes in the software available to the end user. These types of changes have to be done by the Beckman field rep and they are reluctant to pass along that information. "
