Easy to use and does its job, but needs to be careful about it being shut off.

"It does its job, but can be better. It's very straight forward to work with, which is very good. But sometimes the system shuts off - when that happens, data are lost. I really hope there's a backup data system or whatever so that no data would be lost. When the system shuts off, sometimes 'abort' doesn't work, so you literally have to turn off the machine and turn it on again. After Sales care come with fortunes. It's better just to work with it by yourself. So, I like it's straightforwardness but it can be improved for more secure and stable data system."

"The Bio-Rad Duo-Flow HPLC system is easy to operate over a broad range of columns for biological separations and purification. I have experienced difficulties using the systems with high salt concentrations, however, leading to the motor becoming inoperable multiple times over a period of a few years, even with thorough cleaning after every use. The motor is easily replaceable and Bio-Rad technical support is generally very helpful."
