Biohit Safe-Cone Filters - Two types of filters are offered: Safe-Cone Standard filter and Safe-Cone Plus filter.
It is recommended to use the Standard Biohit Safe Cone filter for general applications and the Plus filter for more demanding applications, such as cell culture, bacterial and virological work, and molecular biology. Biohit Safe Cone Standard filters can also be used for this type of work, but they need to be changed more frequently.
When no filters are used, the pipettor can be contaminated after just 50 pipettings. To make filter removal safe and easy, forceps are packed with each Biohit pipettor; the mLINE mechanical pipettor features a unique filter ejection mechanism.
