Single-cycle kinetics is now the preferred method for kinetic analysis with Biacore X100 2.0, which also includes specifications for detection of small molecules (as low as 100 Da), and pre-programmed assay workflows for all Biacore Capture Kits, including the recently launched Biotin CAPture Kit.

Single-cycle kinetics enables kinetic analysis without the need for sensor surface regeneration, reducing time taken to develop and run an assay and allowing analyses that would otherwise not be feasible due to difficulty in finding suitable regeneration conditions.
