Costly but if you are in a rich lab, get one. Once you learn to use it, it's really convenient!

"It is a really expensive instrument but worth it. You can get the dissociation constant between two molecules and it is possible to monitor the real-time change of mass concentration near the immobilized molecule which means more binding. Once you learn to use it, it's really convenient because you can operate a method. However, it's a bit hard to learn the concept and study the principles of surface plasmon resonance(SPR)."

"The machine is simple to operate with complex but explained data fitting that encompasses many models. Mass transfer and drifting baselines are easily corrected. Consumable costs are excessive and reagents can be easily prepared in house to save costs."
