The HTS broke down several times within the first year, they kept giving us refurbished HTSs that were just as bad as the first one. We wanted to purchase a spare HTS that we could swap ourselves because we were tired of losing experiments when it broke down. The company's response? Charge us $8,100 dollars every year for the privilege of having a subpar replacement in a service contract, in addition to our regularly overpriced service contract for the whole machine. Next time we are definitely not purchasing from BD, we are going to the competitors!"
