"We decided we wanted to go one decimal point further than the accuracy required for many environmental tests. The Discovery balance gave us 5 decimal places and let us get a better idea how our finished products were trending. It has also helped us develop tighter criteria for existing and new products. One unintended benefit is that the extra sensitivity helped us realize that our previous location was not the ideal one. Being forced to move the balance helped us improve our overall process."
