480 plates offer another great solution from Axygen for real-time PCR.
These plates — available in both 96-well and 384-well format — are designed to fit the new plate-based Roche Light Cycler 480. Thin walls coupled with the 480 platform deliver real-time PCR results in less than 40 minutes. These 480 plates are manufactured from white polypropylene to magnify signal intensity and prevent "cross-talk" between wells. Black, printed alphanumerics make it easier to locate wells and orient the plate.
