Powerful optical microscope
Application Area: Monitor and examine cell growth
"Axio Lab.A1 by Zeiss is an excellent microscope for day-to-day inspection of analytical instrumentation at the μm scale, including microfluidic chips, fused silica capillaries and glass nebulizers. Most importantly, it is an excellent tool to employ in cell growth experiments, where populations of cells need to be counted and their phenotype inspected. The equipped 1080p video camera can also be used to capture high quality micrographs that can be used as evidence for high-impact research papers and conference presentations."

"I think that the microscope is fairly easy to use. We have yet to have a problem out of it that wasn't caused by user error. The software used to capture images is pretty easy to use as well."
Make use of exceptional flexibility for complex routine examinations. Examine tissue samples in pathology or evaluate cytological material. Use the wide range of interchangeable components to precisely adapt Axio Scope.A1 to your research environment.
Axio Scope.A1 is highly configurable with five different upper bodies; three lower bodies and two Vario columns. Whether used for simple or complex tasks in the routine laboratory and whether for transmitted light, reflected light or fluorescence, you invest only in the features you need.
Use Axio Scope.A1 for a broad range of applications: from anatomical study to intravital microscopy; transmitted light applications to multiple fluorescence labeling, from the thinnest tissue sections to a sample height of 380 mm.
