Help in Generating Publication Quality Data During LIBS Analysis
Rating: 4.3

  • Application Area:Analyze samples using LIBS technology

"The iStar ICCD camera is compatible to our existing spectrograph. It has many features which help in gating and imaging the geological samples to generate quality data. We are happy with the use of it."

Unbeatable results and functionality for the price.
Rating: 4.0

  • Application Area:Organic electronics and photophysics

"I use the iStar for both steady-state spectra and long-time PL dynamics, tracking emissive species and lifetimes from ~few ns out to near 1 ms. It is very easy to use and offers an excellent dynamic range. The time-resolved gating is a very powerful tool, and is unique in this price bracket. However, it would be much improved if the gate length could be reduced - the effective temporal resolution right now is > 1 ns, while the (much more expensive) equivalent from PI offers < 500 ps."
