"User can easily understand the hardware layout of Akta avant systems. It's easy to find if there is any issue in the system. It runs on unicorn, and unicorn software is very user friendly. It's very easy to give commands. From process layout, one can easily understand the process. Maintainance also minimal, you just need to calibrate the ph meter and 20% ethanol. From my prespective, value for money of this instrument also great as downstream operation became very easy."

"AKTA (ÄKTA) avant - advanced protein separation / purification devised by GE Healthcare is very good system for purification of proteins and nucleic acid. I am impressed with its ability to perform three chromatography methods at once. I have used it for Molecular size exclusion followed by Ion-exchange followed by affinity or in reverse direction. I recommend it to be used for proteins and nucleic acid purification. "
