"This column is very good and robust. It is easy to maintain and change. The material is good and even with temperature fluctuations the column does not bleed. I recommend it for pesticide analysis."

"We find this column needs to have a lower bleed and be more inert."

The DB-1ms is a nonpolar, low bleed column that offers excellent inertness for acids and bases and an extended upper temperature limit. The DB-1ms is a nonpolar, low bleed column. The DB-1ms column has excellent inertness for acids and bases and an extended upper temperature limit. Using low bleed stationary phases in the DB-1ms column reduces the column contribution to background noise resulting in a higher signal to noise ration and better sensitivity. The DB-1ms is bonded and cross-linked. In addition, reduced column bleed results in improved mass spectral purity and accurate library identification. The inertness of DB-1ms provides maximum response for active analytes commonly found in drug screening and environmental analyses.
