"It is an easy piece of kit to use. I was trained by Agilent on 7700 and is the best training I'd ever had in my life. Getting to use 7900, is a lot simpler to use than 7700. I could see slight improvement on user-friendly software, e.g. there is no need to do P/A factor on 7900, also there is an installed method for ICHQ3d method, and it is so convenient. Not a lot of issues happen but the foreline pump and the valve to cool the cone was broken, and I know the instrument was only there for about 2-3 years, so perhaps a bit fast to have problems. Other than that, customer service is great and the service engineer came to change the valve straight away and got it back working."
