The AffirmoEX introduces a new class of Electron Magnetic Resonance (EMR) spectrometer. For the first time, EMR spectroscopy has become affordable, compact, easy-to-install, and simple to use.

Electron Magnetic Resonance (EMR), also known as Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) or Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR), is a long established technique that is the only way to directly measure unpaired electrons, one of the most fundamental drivers of chemical reactivity.

EMR is used by organic chemists to study free radicals; inorganic chemists to investigate the oxidation states of transition metals; and physical chemists to determine chemical behaviours such as reaction kinetics. EMR finds application in organic synthesis, catalysis, biochemistry, polymer chemistry, green chemistry, oxidation studies, and degradation investigation, along with many other fields.
