Description
Achieve ultra-high resolution bioseparations on ANY LC system, HPLC or UHPLC, with award winning core-shell technology . Meet Aeris , the latest introduction in the HPLC | UHPLC core-shell column line, specially designed for analyzing proteins and peptides. The secret is in the core-shell particle morphology. A uniform porous silica layer is grown on top of a solid silica core, providing effective retention and selectivity with improved resolution, speed, and recovery. Aeris provides striking increases in peak capacity and resolution at lower backpressures, producing sub-2 micron results on any LC instrument. With virtually no bleed, Aeris columns are highly compatible with MS. Aeris is available in WIDEPORE and PEPTIDE configurations. Features of Aeris WIDEPORE Core-Shell Columns: Large-pore optimized for the separation of intact proteins and polypeptides 3.6-micron core-shell particles with a thin porous shell Available in three selectivities: XB-C18, XB-C8, and C4 Accommodates longer or coupled columns for increased resolving power Features of Aeris PEPTIDE Core-Shell Columns: Small-pore optimized for low molecular weight peptides and peptide mapping 3.6-micron and 1.7-micron particle sizes for method and system flexibility XB-C18 selectivity provides ideal surface chemistry for resolving peptides On UHPLC systems, Aeris 1.7-micron particles can deliver higher peak capacities than fully porous sub-2 micron columns.
