The JEOL AccuTOF™-DART™ represents a significant breakthrough in mass spectrometry. Now you can analyze solid, liquid and/or gaseous samples at atmospheric pressure and ground potential by simply placing the sample between the DART and the mass spectrometer. No solvents or sample preparation are required. The DART can even analyze samples directly on surfaces such as concrete, currency, food, pills and clothing. The AccuTOF-DART combination achieves high specificity through high resolution. Exact mass measurements together with precise isotopic abundances can rapidly identify unknown compounds by their elemental compositions. The revolutionary DART ion source gives an entirely new meaning to the phrase “open access”.

"I have an Ionsense DART with the Vapur interface on the Agilent Q-tof 6520. I have several accessories for the DART source and am very pleased with the ease of use of the system including how easy it is to change the hardware. It would be great if the Agilent software worked seamlessly with the DART software. For this reason I gave a 4 star rating. However, the DART software is intuitive and easy to use. In addition, the support that I have received from both JEOL and IonSense prior to and after sale on the hardware, software, and applications has been more than expected. I have commonly interfaced with Doug, Elizabeth, and Joe from IonSense and will in the future likely send samples for analysis by other JEOL products to Chip Cody. The DART was purchased as an accessory or add-on piece of instrumentation and for the price, it is more than what we could ask for. In general, we are very pleased. In the future when we replace our QTof we will consider an all-in-1 unit."   |
