Great instrument - Horiba provides top tech support - its been great!
Application Area: Analyzing comprehensive panels, lipids and hepatic function
"I am confident in my results, and operation is user friendly. Sample bar code reader eliminates potential input errors and the reagent bar code reader is instrumental in assuring on time calibrations and on board stability records. Enjoy the maintenance menu that's built in as well."

Instrument is great, customer service not so much
Application Area:Clinical Chemistry Education
"The customer service from this company was horrendous. There were so many lies and back and forth. As nice as the instrument is, I would never work with this company again."

Benchtop analyzer - terrible performance
Application Area:Clinical Chemistry-Small Lab Setting
"Although the analyzer is touted to be easy to use, efficient, and a great value for the money the mechanical components have been wrought with issues. We struggle to get quality results consistently and this is not beneficial for a higher volume outpatient setting. We are consistently behind the necessary turnaround time requests from our providers. The instrument has short calibration windows so we are recalibrating constantly and this causes delays. Also, the instrument is supposed to have a quick time to result, but if multiple samples are onboard the TAT is greatly extended. Overall we are not impressed."

"We have owned this analyser since January 2010. We have used it with our home-made methods for biochemistry analysis of urine, serum and red blood cells. It is very robust because we launch about 100 samples a day. It is very easy to use and program."
