"The offline coupling of liquid chromatography (LC) to MALDI mass spectrometry (LC-MALDI) has been shown to be a best technique for proteomics. This will open new era in the field of proteomics."
The offline coupling of liquid chromatography (LC) to MALDI mass spectrometry (LC-MALDI) has been shown to be a relevant technique in proteomics, comprising protein profiling and protein identification capabilities. Major advantages are the reduction of complexity and selection of precursor ions for the MS/MS data acquisition without any time constrains.
The PROTEINEER fc II enables automatic liquid handling for MALDI preparation of LC separated peptide fractions. It automates the Proteomics workflow from LC-separation to mass spectrometric identification and characterization by Bruker FLEX™-Series MALDI TOF and TOF/TOF systems.
The PROTEINEER fc II collects samples separated on nano- and capillary-LC systems directly onto the MALDI target. Discrete fractions of the eluted peptides can be deposited on Prespotted AnchorChip targets, 384 MALDI AnchorChip targets, or into well plates. As an option, a supporting liquid (e.g. matrix solution) can be added directly to the LC-flow prior to deposition onto the MALDI target via sheath flow.
