Easy to use
Rating: 4.0

  • Application Area:protein separation

"I think this product is very easy to use. The connection and valves maybe a little confused at the beginning. But, as soon as we become familiar with the flow direction and methods, it becomes simple and straight forward. "

Reliable instrument for protein separation studies
Rating: 4.3

  • Application Area:Protein binding tests

"This product is a good instrument for a dynamic binding tests. Although the model we have it's a little old, the running is still robust. The software is easy to operate once you get familiar with, I think overall this is a reliable instrument for a lab scale protein separation experiments."

ÄKTAFPLC is one of the classic lab-scale ÄKTA™ protein purification systems.

ÄKTAFPLC system was introduced in 1998 as the third system in the ÄKTA range of protein purification systems, with features devised to help scientists overcome the difficulties of working with biological material.

ÄKTAFPLC was discontinued at the end of 2013, following the introduction of ÄKTA pure.
