J.G. Finneran's new 96-well aluminum base microplate combines the advantage of the vented design of the original Multi-Tier Microplate which assures uniform heating and cooling when immersed in a water bath with the ability to efficiently freeze dry samples when required, due to the aluminum material. The aluminum microplate promotes more efficient heat transfer which is important to the freeze drying process.
The aluminum microplate is made from anodized aluminum to prevent finger print smudges and discoloration.
Finneran offers a variety of sealing methods for their microplates including molded mats and sealing films. Glass and plastic vials are also available for use with the aluminum microplate.
