"An untrained student is able to measure alone with an easy description and a short training by himself. The methods are easy to generate and to adjust to other units of measurement. If there are problems it is easy and fast to solve. Also if you need, you can call for technique support. You can change modules quickly with the titration compound. The older ones, which we have in the lab, can all be used. We use an Administrator with full rights and an User account with less options. This is a really usefull thing, because the methods are not lost all the time. Methods can be archived by the admin and not selected by the user. This is really good protection against doing something wrong."

"The equipment works correctly - knowing the % or ppm of humidity that plastics have is a marvel. Fast, agile and has an autosampler. It has several uses, since, in addition to measuring the % humidity per oven of plastics, we can also measure the humidity of liquids per cell, so the equipment is a 2 in 1 (in our case). It speeds up the tests of % of low humidity a lot, since in a conventional stove, you would make very big mistakes. This equipment has one less error in addition to that with the autosampler, it is only programmed to move vials and measure, it is very fast and efficient. The results are reproducible between replicates, and use of the equipment is also very easy and intuitive. The sales team that make the demo when we were acquiring the equipment are always available (by mail or phone, and even to visit you if necessary) and they solve your doubts and help with the creation of new methods for new tests ( in our case it was with liquids per cell). The ratings are so high because from minute zero we have been very happy with the team, they are always up to date and help you, and as I have already mentioned, it is a very easy to use piece of equipment and it is very good quality. "From use over the last 8 years, 888 Titrando has been very fast and produced accurate result with consistency. Also one thing I want to share is, initially we determined peroxide value using manual titrations like using burette, conical flask etc. and it is a very time consuming job and requires more concentration on it while analyzing. We asked Metrohm's service engineers if we could use 888 Titrando for peroxide value and he suggested using redox electrodes for peroxide value. He set up a method and configured it to analyse peroxide value with 888 Titrando. The result was amazing! I'm very thankful for your great service and the instrument."

"Both instrument and software are really easy to use and the learning curve is quite fast. Software is flexible and up to now we did not find any missing menu that should be implemented for our use. All was already present. In our lab we are using Titrando 890 to determinate the water content of solid flour based product raging between 8-20% moisture. We tried to analyze the samples directly but it takes a long time to extract all the water from these matrix. Often, analysis ended with a partial extraction as the last % point is released slowly. We found it easier and faster to pre-treat the sample to extract the water in a suitable solvent for the analysis. with this equipment, the analysis is completed in few minutes. Indeed, its a very usable instrument for moisture determination! We are thinking of implementing this machine with the external oven to analyze sample containing some interferences (such as hydroxides)."

"The Salt Potentiometric method produces reliable results. Getting it set up and working took a lot of effort on our end and many phone calls. We are still working out kinks with the PV method.
