"I have been using this Karl Fischer titrator for around two year now. It is used regularly as I run samples from all our incoming liquid loads to verify it is within the range the customer has given. It is a well designed machine that if you keep the solvent and titrant as dry as possible, produces high accuracy results. It is also put to use with loads that leave site as the KF is used to maximize the water content within the caveat range. The machine is very easy to calibrate now I have been shown by the maintenance engineer. He showed me a much easier way of doing the calibration and informed me that I should be calibrating much more often than I was. The service engineer was also very helpful when I mentioned that the o-ring was wearing away. He looked up the part number and wrote it down on a piece of paper. I ordered the part a week later and the part was delivered the following day. Very good customer service."

"The 870 KF Titrino plus is a smart, compact instrument with a futuristic-looking thermal printer. All functions are accessed through a small array of rubber keys on the front of the instrument. These keys have a removable plastic covering that can be used in cases of spillage or where dirty gloves are used. The functionality is very much greater than our previous 701 model. However, the machine can be tailored to your requirements. For our needs, we have one standardization method and one sample analysis method. The titrator also comes with a separate numerical keypad for entering sample weights, although I believe you can also attach a USB keyboard if you wish to enter text. The analysis itself is straightforward; add sample, enter weight and press Start. The analysis is monitored by showing a live titration curve on screen. This allows you to highlight any potential interferences or side reactions that may be occurring during the titration. Once the titration is complete, the result is automatically printed out. The printout can also be tailored to your specification to include such information as the titration curve, various stats, result to varying numbers of decimal places. The same pump in/out buttons are present on this model the remove solution from the titration vessel and replace with fresh solvent. However, the buttons are conveniently placed at the front of the machine instead of behind the titration vessel on some previous models. The machine can then be left conditioning for the next user."
